What is an easy recipe for authentic homemade chai?
Step 1: Make sure you boil 250ml of water before adding 1-2 teaspoons of Benares Masala Chai
Step 2: Reduce the heat and make the tea leaves with spices( that are already present in our Benares masala chai) simmer for at least 3-4 minutes
Step 3: Add a dash of milk and increase it according to your preference- we like our tea to have a honey caramel color- just the right amount of milk but not too much!
Step 4: Nothing better than a few saffron strands to lift the chai from it’s humble to royal status
